In this workshop you will learn all the basics of indigo dyeing - how to prepare yarns for indigo dyeing, how to make an indigo stock solution, how to create and maintain an indigo dyeing vat. Every participant will get plenty of hands-on experience in dyeing woollen yarn many different shades of indigo blue. You will also learn to overdye plant-dyed yellow yarns to get beautiful greens.
The participation fee includes yarn samples of various indigo blue/green shades. Workshop is suitable for beginners.
