These institutions and the University of Tartu have concluded a respective agreement.
To become a visiting student, you should start by consulting with the coordinator at your university and the Acadmic Affairs Specialist at the Centre for Arts. Remember that your visiting student status must have a purpose: to study something that would supplement your studies at your university. For that, you will need to communicate with both the University of Tartu and your home university.
You need to fill in the VISITING STUDENT APPLICATION and get approval from both study institutions.
Once you are registered as a visiting student, you will get access to the University of Tartu study information system (SIS) where you can register to the courses. The username and password will be sent to the e-mail you marked on your application. If you have previously studied at the University of Tartu as a visiting student, the old username and password will be activated and you will not receive new ones. You will get access to SIS from the first day of the respective semester.
Please note that submitting the application will not automatically mean you are registered to the course(s)! All visiting students can register to courses in SIS for two weeks from the beginning of the semester. If you cannot register in SIS anymore, contact maarja.nommik [ät] ut.ee.
Students from other higher education institutions can also participate our courses, but as continuing education learners.
